Be one with the Force in this limited Lego exhibit
Star Wars come and gone, but the Force remains strong with us as we celebrate Return of the Sixth, a follow-up holiday to May the 4th and Revenge of the 5th. As a show of appreciation to George Lucas’ epic space opera, Paper Cup+Intramuros has teamed up with Pinoy Lego User Group (PinoyLUG) to unveil a special “Star Wars”-themed exhibit at The Manila Bulletin lobby.
On display are various Lego builds of various scenes and iconic charactersfrom the beloved sci-fi franchise. Frontand center is Lord Vader’s throne as seen in the Supremacy dread-nought. Guests can enjoy a cup of coffee and some pastries before striking a pose on the throne. There are also lightsabers on the side for your photo op, just be wise in choosing which side of the Force you belong to. By the aisles, you’ll find Lego mosaic murals of fan favorite characters like Kylo Ren, Darth Maul, Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, General Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Rey. On the left side, the helmets of Captain Rex, Commander Cody, and Darth Vader can be seen, as well as builds of the Mandalorian, Boba Fett, and Grogu. Across it, you’ll find the duel on Mustafar between Anakin and Obi-Wan, C-3PO and R2-D2, and mini models of the Millennium Falcon and an X-Wing fighter.

PinoyLUG has been active in the Filipino Lego community since 2014. It is the sole recognized Lego user group in the country. Some key exhibits they have worked on before include the Fernando Amorsolo-themed installations launched at the Cultural Center of the Philippines for the 50th anniversary of the artist’s legacy. They have also collaborated with local artists like Quiccs to boost the popularity of the Filipino designer toy community.

Grateful for the Force at MANILA BULLETIN | Paper+Cup — together with PinoyLUG (PINOY LUG - LEGO User Group), we turned our office into a hub of creativity this #StarWarsDay — a shared space for great ideas, pop culture, community, and good coffee. Maraming salamat—and May the 4th be with you. Display period May 4-16, 2026
