Saturdays is mostly the start of the weekend to enjoy the best time with family and friends. But for this weekend it was a long one. If you’ve missed Saturday’s “Brick Weekend” exhibit organized by PinoyLUG in collaboration with The Magnolia Residences in New Manila don’t worry we got this covered...
This is the second major event for PinoyLUG spearheaded by Leslie Araujo, PinoyLUG's Ambassador representing the Philippines in a global scale of LEGO Users Groups. This one-day show is collaboration with The Magnolia Residences, which is a project under the Robinsons Residences brand under the Robinsons Land Corporation.
It promotes PinoyLUG to venture outside the hobby community, and be noticed not just another RLUG (Registered LEGO User Group) in the Philippines. They also promote The Magnolia Residences in New Manila as one of the places for those who find the interest in living conveniently near the commercial area.
PinoyLUG was given the opportunity to show what the community of LEGO builders, and hobbyist is about at the same time a place for the children of the interested would-be owners to enjoy the weekend of excitement seeing a view of the displays and get to play with some sets, while the parents take a first look what The Magnolia Residences has to offer for future home owners.
The men and women of PinoyLUG has set up some never before seen LEGO sets, which were never available in local retail as well as some impressive MOCs (My Own Creation) customs built by some of the imaginative members of the group.
There’s a table set for the kids to interact and create their own LEGO creations that’s a bricktivity that parents can also assist and participate too. But what catches everyone’s attention is the cool displays ranging from licence sets from properties like DC Comics, Marvel, The Hobbit, Harry Potter, Star Wars and more from the passionate members of PinoyLUG.
This was indeed a fun Saturday for the kids and parents who have the opportunity to see what PinoyLUG stand for as well as see what The Magnolia Residences has offer for those looking to invest their future in living within city.
