BrickCon 2014: LEGO® UCS Slave-1 Teaser!

If you’re a BIG Star Wars Fan and have seen the premier episode of Star Wars Rebels earlier today, then perhaps you might have already knew about the Ultimate Collector Series 2014 Fall reveal at BrickCon 2014 featuring Boba Fett’s Slave-1!

You might have been anticipating the much talked about Slave-1, which made a minor appearance in The Empire Strikes Back after Han Solo was frozen in Carbonite and wheeled to the cargo hold of the ship.

LEGO® has finally released its in-scale version of Boba Fett’s iconic Slave-1 to media at BrickCon as part of its Fall 2014 release.

The Slave-1 will get a UCS treatment which will have 1996 pieces and it will have five minifigures (if you count Han Solo’s version in Carbonite as he comes with two). This will include Han Solo (Pre-Carbonite), Boba Fett, Storm Trooper, and a Bespin Guard. This high end Ultimate Collectors Series not holding off when putting together the Slave-1 ship to scale with other previously released Star Wars vehicles like the Millennium Falcon that was produced some years ago.

Measuring at 7” (20cm) high, 17” (45cm) long, and 14” (37cm) wide the Slave-1 would definitely need some space on your display for those who followed the Bounty Hunter from all aspects of Star Wars Media.

You’ll also notice the difference between UCS Slave-1 from previous release, which was for age 14 and up and had 600 pieces. They had put a badge in the box that was first seen in the set 75059 Sandcrawler earlier this year. The exclusive image of Boba Fett’s Slave-1 was taken during late afternoon as BrickCon 2014 day 1 while the event was winding down.

LEGO® Slave-1 UCS with 1996 pieces retailed at $199.99 US through LEGO® stores and LEGO.com to be released this fall.
