| The Ghostbusters Firehouse is one of the iconic places that you have seen in the various medium that featured ‘The Ghostbusters.’ From the live action films, animated series to the comic books it’s a fixture of what makes its known.
If you’ve been a Ghostbusters fan since the original film in 1984 it’s probably one of those places you want to see in the real world. LEGO® however has taken the headquarters of the Ghostbusters and turned it into an actual set courtesy of one fan submitted in through LEGO® Ideas. |
The LEGO® Group has turned it into an official set that have 4,600 pieces was one of the sets on display during the PinoyLUG grand meet-up in partnership with the LEGO® Trading Group. FB Fong, one of the members who volunteered and have his very own set became part of the one-day exhibit shared his experience putting the set together and allowed us to get a close up look of the Firehouse Headquarters.
Its one of the biggest pieces that where exhibited at the grand meet-up last Saturday. Fong shares that it took him a maximum of 12 hours divided in days to put together this iconic masterpiece that’s eye catching to the event visitors who have become part of the event. Everything that was announced sometime in November 2015 and revealed in the final product by LEGO® in December got everyone’s attention. This also carries a big price tag for anyone wanting to have one. But once you have it certainly worth that you paid for.
